Are Stem Cell Treatments Safe?

Is this treatment covered by my insurance?
Unfortunately at this time, no stem cell procedures within the United States, is FDA approved nor is it covered by insurance.
Can my body reject stem cell from a donor?
No. Umbilical cord derived stems are considered neutral cells and do not result in rejections.
What are the side effects?
Umbilical cord derived stem cell treatment side effects are generally minor. Side effects include swelling, itching, rash, nausea and bruising.
How long does it take to show improvement?
Most patients receiving stem cell treatment show improvements 2-12 weeks after initial treatment with on-going healing for up to one year after procedure date. Please note: every patient is different so results can vary.
How long do the results last?
It depends on the individual patient and the condition (s) they are being treated for. We will outline expected outcomes for each individual patient before the procedure.
